The 2015 Volkswagen Amarok Canyon
The Volkswagen Amarok diesel-powered compact pickup truck may not be available in the U.S., but with the introduction of the2013 Amarok Canyon special edition, all of a sudden we wish it were. Looking great all decked out in its exclusive Copper Orange paintwork, the Amarok Canyon received such a positive reception at the Geneva Motor Show that VW decided to build it.
The Canyon model differentiates itself with an available light bar with quad all-weather spotlights, blacked out taillamps, a contrasting black rear bumper and body-color underbody guards, plus contrasting color bed rails that can be substituted with a hard tonneau cover. 17-inch Roca wheels wrapped in 245/70R17 all-terrain tires come standard, while buyers can opt for 18-inch rollers with all-season rubber. The pair of 2.0-liter TDI engines, making 122 and 163 horsepower along with mounds of torque, are joined by either part-time or always-on 4MOTION 4WD systems and a locking rear differential
